Literature Text

A boy asked a man
"How do you live with yourself,
after all you did?
You've paid your dues, burned your bridge,
and cast your bid.
How do you live, when all you know is lost, and
with the knowledge that it is all your fault
?"

The man answers.
"Indeed, I may seem heartless,
but do I hide my eyes?
Do I smother the truth
with fallacies and lies?
What is done, is done.
The past is lost; experience won.
I am done asking for forgiveness
."
A friend (:icondakeyblademastahxd:) reminded me of this poem today and I realized I never posted it.
SO HERE IT IS a poem I never posted here, but did make it in to my old school's lit mag last year.

Read and review plz

Oh. My. Gosh. The man's words are...wow. And I mean that in a good way. "the past is lost; experience won" very original.
